Deployable Wall Mounted Pole

Our Deployable Wall Mounted Pole is very similar to the deployable free-standing pole, except it is designed to affix to the side of a building via wall brackets and therefore does not include a tripod base.

It is an ideal temporary or semi-permanent solution for erecting a windsock. The building provides stability to the pole which is extended (via the included hand pump) beyond the top of the building until it has enough clearance to allow freedom of movement for the windsock.

This deployable wall mounted pole is a simple and robust solution, and the windsock position can be changed as you can easily move the wall brackets. Because the pole is extended via the hand pump and is affixed to the building at its base, the whole system can be deployed from the ground, without any need to access the upper levels of the building.

Product Detail

This deployable wall mounted pole is available in a number of extendable heights, from 3.5m to 10m. The mast is constructed from 3" diameter 3.25mm wall aircraft grade aluminium alloy, with keyed sections to prevent rotation and improve stability. The mast is easily extended through the in-built hand pump and does not require a professional to install.

The top of the mast includes a marine-grade stainless steel windsock swivel arm, to allow full freedom of rotation for the windsock to effectively display the wind conditions. This is compatible with any of our snap-on windsocks up to 7FT in length. We do not recommend using any larger windsocks on this type of pole – if you require a larger windsock then please browse our range of permanent poles which are suitable for supporting windsocks up to 12FT.

Although designed to be a temporary solution, this pole is made from hardwearing, resilient materials and is safe to be left in the open for long periods of time. It has been rigorously tested, including withstanding temperatures between -40˚C to 50˚C.

Delivery Information

The deployable windsock poles are exclusive to Windsocks Direct and made to order. This means you will have to wait a little longer than normal for delivery, as the lead time is eight weeks. All of our products are manufactured in Britain, and this product will be securely shipped as soon as it is ready complete with a three-year warranty.
